Sorry mant 288 with Pascalite. 291 is the same with Symbiotik. Replace the diapragms with pascalite in either case. 299 are ferrite mags. You probably want alnico.

Installing the Pascalight 'frams in 288s would be my choice, ~same BW as aluminum and handles the rough stuff better ( lasts longer too ). I'd stress the steep XO and proper horn to take any of them to their lower limit, it isn't pretty when they unload from program material below the horn cutoff.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Do you mean neither the 290 with the Phenolic diaphragm nor the 288 with the Pascalite diaphragm can be used down to 250HZ? If it is the fact, that mean only the WE594A, WE555 and RCA MI-1428B can do it?
